About this worksheet
Eight line-art barnyard animals, each sitting above a dotted word to trace: goat, chick, pony, bunny, lamb, goose, cow and mouse. A color band across the top (duck, silo, windmill, hay bales, pumpkins, rooster) sets the scene, and a wooden fence with sunflowers closes the page at the bottom.
The words are short and every one of them is a word a preschooler already says out loud, so nothing here asks a child to decode. The job is pencil control: staying on the dotted line through a handful of letters, then coloring the animal as the reward. Filed at Pre-K because tracing is a motor task, not a spelling task, and the picture names the word for them.
