About this worksheet
The top half asks a child to circle all the musical instruments, and a tambourine, a pair of maracas and a ukulele are the three, mixed in with a red wagon, a toy plane and a yo-yo. The bottom half asks for the dolls, where a rag doll, a baby doll and a small girl doll are the answers, and a rocking horse, a camera and a pull-along duck are the distractors.
Both halves reward looking past shape. A tambourine and a yo-yo are both round, and a rocking horse is a toy figure that is not a doll, so a child has to think about what the toy is for. The art is drawn in a warm vintage storybook style, which sets this page apart from the brighter sorting sheets in the set.
