About this worksheet
A dump truck and traffic cones frame eight subtraction problems, each with an empty box beside it. Along the bottom is a strip of number tiles to cut out, and the child glues each one into the box it answers.
There is exactly one tile for each problem, so the last tile always has a home, and a child who ends up with a tile that fits nowhere knows to check again. Cutting and gluing also makes the page feel like a project rather than practice.
The problems include 9 − 9 and 10 − 3, so there is a zero and a full ten to handle along the way.
