01What we collect

Nifty Worksheets is built so you can browse, preview, and download printable worksheets without giving us anything. The site has no accounts, no login, and no profiles of its own, and it never asks for your name, age, school, or location.

Like any website, a few things are collected automatically when you visit:

• Request logs. Our host, Vercel, records standard technical details of each request (IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and a timestamp) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Vercel keeps these for a limited period under its own retention policy.
• Analytics. Google Analytics records which pages are viewed, which worksheets are downloaded, how visitors found the site, and general device and location information (country or city level). See Cookies & analytics.
• Grow by Mediavine. Grow measures visits and engagement, and powers optional features such as saving favorite worksheets. If you choose to create a Grow account, Grow collects the email address you give it. See Grow by Mediavine.
• Advertising. Mediavine and its advertising partners collect information such as your IP address, device, browser, approximate location, and browsing activity to show and measure ads, including interest-based ads. See Advertising.
• Email. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.

02Children & COPPA

Nifty Worksheets is written for the adults who print worksheets: parents, teachers, homeschoolers, and tutors. Children use the printed pages, but the website itself is not directed to children. We follow the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar principles elsewhere.

Specifically:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
• The site has no accounts, profiles, or progress tracking, so there is nothing tied to an individual child.
• Grow accounts are for adults. Mediavine states that Grow does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
• If you're a parent or guardian and believe a child has shared personal information with us, email us and we'll delete it.

03Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which worksheets are popular, which pages people land on, and where visits come from. It helps us decide what to make next.

• What it records. Pages viewed, worksheet downloads (which worksheet, its subject and grade), the referring site, visit length, browser and device type, and approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
• Cookies. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) that tell repeat visits apart from new ones. They are not used to identify you by name.
• Opting out. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works fully either way.

Grow by Mediavine and Mediavine's advertising also use cookies and similar technologies, described in the next two sections.

04Grow by Mediavine

Nifty Worksheets runs Grow, a tool from Mediavine, Inc. that measures visits and engagement and offers optional reader features such as saving favorite worksheets and getting recommendations for related ones.

• Without an account. Grow collects device and browser information, approximate location, and how you interact with the site, using cookies and similar technologies.
• With an account. If you sign up for Grow, it also stores your email address and the content you save. That account is with Grow, not with us.

Mediavine is responsible for the data Grow collects. Its privacy notices, cookie details, and privacy request tools are in the Mediavine Legal & Privacy Center, and you can also reach its privacy team at privacy@mediavine.com.

05Advertising

Nifty Worksheets is supported by display ads served by Journey by Mediavine. Ads are what keep every worksheet free, with no account and no watermark.

• How the ads work. Mediavine uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels and tags) to collect information about your visit and your activity on other websites, and shares it with advertising partners who bid to show you an ad. That means the ads you see may be based on your interests.
• The full details. Mediavine's Advertising Privacy Notice, at the bottom of this page, explains exactly what it collects, who it shares it with, and your rights. Its list of advertising partners is at mediavine.com/ad-partners.
• Your choices. Visitors in the EU and UK are asked for consent before advertising cookies are used, and can change their choice any time with the "Update Privacy Settings" link at the bottom of the site. Visitors in US states with opt-out rights can use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Information" link at the bottom of the site. Anyone can also block cookies in their browser or use the industry opt-out tools listed in Mediavine's notice.

Opting out doesn't remove ads. It means the ads you see won't be based on your interests.

You will never see an ad on a worksheet PDF itself. Ads only appear on the website pages around it.

06Third parties

We use a small number of outside services to run the website:

• Vercel. Hosts and delivers the site, and keeps standard request logs as part of doing so.
• Google Analytics. Traffic and download analytics.
• Grow by Mediavine. Engagement measurement and optional reader features.
• Journey by Mediavine and its advertising partners. Display advertising, as described in Advertising.
• Google Fonts. Serves the site's typefaces. Your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.

07How we use information

The information described above is used only to:

• Run, maintain, and improve Nifty Worksheets, including deciding which worksheets to make next.
• Show ads that pay for the site, through Mediavine.
• Reply to messages you send us.
• Detect and prevent abuse and security threats.

We don't sell information to anyone ourselves. The advertising on this site does involve Mediavine sharing and selling personal information with its advertising partners, as its notice below explains, and you can opt out of that using the choices in Advertising.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it, and to object to how it is processed.

• Analytics data. We can't link Google Analytics data to a named person, so the most effective control is the cookie settings or opt-out add-on described in Cookies & analytics.
• Advertising data. Use the opt-out choices in Advertising, or contact Mediavine at privacy@mediavine.com to access, correct, or delete data it holds.
• Grow data. Requests about Grow, including deleting a Grow account, go to Mediavine through its Legal & Privacy Center or privacy@mediavine.com.
• Anything you sent us. Email hello@niftyworksheets.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

When we change how the site collects or uses information, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top first.
