About this worksheet
Six puppies peek over the edge of the page, each holding up a sign with a subtraction problem. On the other side are six bones with numbers on them, and the child solves each problem and draws a line from the puppy to its bone.
Matching is a relaxed way to practice, because every answer is already on the page and each bone is used once. A child who gets stuck on one can leave it and come back once the other bones are taken.
The puppies are all different breeds, which gives a child plenty to talk about before the math even starts.
