About this worksheet
Eight subtraction problems written in dotted numbers on handwriting lines. The child traces each problem, including the minus and equal signs, and then writes the answer.
Tracing the whole problem slows a child down just enough to notice every part of it, and it doubles as number writing practice for a child who still reverses a 3 or a 9. The dashed middle line helps with sizing.
It is plain, black and white and light on ink, which makes it an easy choice for a class set or a quiet morning at the kitchen table.
