About this worksheet
Three rows of four stars fill the page, each with a short dashed line running straight down from it. The child starts at a star, traces down, and works across every row.
Shorter lines mean more starts and stops, which is closer to how a child will actually write letters. With twelve lines on one page it also builds a little stamina, and the stars can be colored in at the end.
What students will practice
- Trace twelve short standing lines
- Start each line at the star
- Move from one row to the next, top to bottom
