About this worksheet
Twelve balloons, each carrying a subtraction problem. The child solves each one and colors the balloon to match the key: 3 is red, 4 is blue, 5 is yellow and 6 is green.
Every answer is 3, 4, 5 or 6, so a balloon that comes out as anything else has no crayon, which is a built-in signal to check again.
The problems mix easy ones like 6 − 1 with ones that cross ten like 14 − 8. It prints in black and white, so there is plenty to color.
