About this worksheet

A big sailboat, apple, star and hat down the left, and the same four drawn small down the right, in a different order. The child draws a line from each big picture to its small match.

This page comes at big and small from the other side. Instead of asking which is bigger, it asks a child to see that a small apple is still an apple, which is the other half of understanding size. The shuffled order means no line goes straight across, so every match takes a real look.

Four pairs and simple outlines keep it short, which makes it a good first page for a child who is new to worksheets, and the pictures can be colored in once the lines are done.
