Six pairs of bright pictures (balloons, cats, cupcakes, trees, balls and flowers) and a question over each one. Which balloon is bigger? Which cat is smaller? The child circles the answer.

The questions switch between bigger and smaller every time, so this is a listening page as much as a looking one. A child who circles the big one out of habit will get the next box wrong, and that is the moment to slow down and read the question again.
