About this worksheet

Four party boxes hold three balloons, two party hats, four presents and five lollipops, with three numbered circles under each. The child dabs every picture once as they count it, then dabs the number that matches.

Dabbing each picture is one-to-one counting made visible: every object gets exactly one dot, so it is easy to see if one was missed or counted twice. Dot markers are made for little hands, but crayons or stickers work just as well. The page is black and white line art and easy on ink.

What students will practice

  • Touch and count each object once
  • Match a count to its numeral
  • Build hand strength with a dot marker
