About this worksheet
A friendly robot built entirely from shapes: a square head and body, circle eyes and buttons, a circle on the antenna, a little square mouth and two triangle feet. Below are three boxes, one each for circles, squares and triangles, and the child counts that shape in the robot and circles the number.
It brings shape names and counting together, so it works as a check on both. The circles take the most care, since the one on top of the antenna is easy to miss, and finding all five is the satisfying part. Coloring each kind of shape in its own color as it is counted keeps track neatly.
