About this worksheet
Five rows of winter pictures, each with five of the same thing: mittens, snowmen, snowflakes, hats and mugs of cocoa. A number at the start of each row, 3, 1, 5, 2 or 4, tells the child how many to color.
With five pictures in every row, the hard part is stopping. Plenty of preschoolers want to color the whole row, and holding back at the number is the real counting skill here. The pictures left plain give a quick check too: together with the colored ones there should always be five. It fits nicely from December through February.
