Twelve full-color toys in two columns, each with a boxed pair of words beside it and one of the two correct. Name and date lines sit at the top and a border of tumbling blocks frames the page.

The toys are a drum, a dinosaur, a yo-yo, crayons, ABC blocks, a skateboard, a sailboat, a xylophone, a balloon, a rocking horse, a jump rope and bubbles. Every pair of choices starts with two different letters, so a child working from first sounds alone can finish the whole page.

Twelve items is more than the cut-and-paste pages ask for, but there is no cutting and no gluing, so it runs faster. Good as a quiet follow-up once the toy words are familiar.
