About this worksheet
Six short e words in a three column table: a picture, the word to trace, and ruled lines to write it again on your own. Bed, hen, net, pen, web and jet.
Handwriting and phonics ride together on this one. Tracing first means the shape is fresh when a child writes it unaided, and the three ruled lines give a clear top, middle and bottom to aim for. Short e is the vowel most children find hardest to hear, so a sheet where the answer is already printed is a good way in. It is line art, so it prints sharp at any size.
