About this worksheet

Six short o words to find: dog, top, log, fox, mop and box. Each one is listed down the sides with a picture next to it, so a child who cannot yet read the word still knows what they are looking for.

Four of the six run across and two run down, which is plenty for a first word search. There are no diagonals and nothing written backwards. It takes longer than anything else in the set, so it works well as the sheet you hand over when you need fifteen quiet minutes. Black and white line art, light on ink.
