Warm or Cold Day Clothes Worksheet for Kindergarten

About this worksheet

Eight clothing pictures to cut out and glue into one of two boxes, a Warm Day box with a sun on it and a Cold Day box with a snowflake. A sun hat, shorts, sandals and a swimsuit go one way; a puffy jacket, mittens, a scarf and boots go the other.

It splits four and four, which matters more than it sounds. A child who has filled one box with five is told something is wrong without a grown-up saying so, and they go back and look again. The cutting is its own reason to use this one: a scissors task keeps a child at the table who would push a pencil worksheet away, and the sorting still happens.
