About this worksheet
Instead of the usual circle, the answer shape on this page is an outlined scalloped cloud, one beside each of the twelve problems. Blue-outlined clouds, a red-and-white propeller plane and a smiling sun border the top, and the footer carries a blue airplane, a striped hot-air balloon, a paper airplane and a kite with a bow tail. The “TAKE OFF:” instruction sends the child through two columns of six problems, all from the 2s, 3s, 4s and 5s, with answers between 4 and 15. PILOT and SQUAD lines run above the work.
Teachers can hand this out as a timed warm-up or a center activity, and at home it works as a short after-school page. It practices exactly the same facts as the other themed sheets here, so the cloud version is a way to repeat the drill without it feeling like a repeat.
