Instead of one joined table, the nine problems here sit in nine separate boxes with clear gaps between them, all inside a plain rectangular page border. The heading reads “Multiplication Facts” with the subtitle “Practice Your Times Tables,” and every problem is written vertically with a rule beneath for the answer. The facts are 3x4, 5x6, 2x9, 8x3, 4x7, 6x6, 9x2, 7x5 and 5x8. There is no artwork anywhere, just black and white line work.
One detail worth pointing out mid-page: 2x9 and 9x2 both appear, which is a quiet way to show that swapping the two factors does not change the product. If a child solves the second one from scratch, that is a good moment to stop and compare the two boxes side by side.
