About this worksheet

Twelve clock faces sit in a grid of three across and four down, each with a box beneath it to write the time. The hour hand is short and blue, the minute hand long and red, and a line under the instructions says so plainly, which removes the single most common source of confusion before the child starts.

Every face is marked with all sixty minute ticks as well as the numbers, so a child who is still counting round in fives has something to count. The times land on the five-minute marks throughout, and the twelve problems cover a spread of hours rather than clustering, so nobody can settle into a pattern and stop reading the hands.
