About this worksheet
Five rows where the pictures stay the same and only the size changes: balls, leaves, cupcakes, flowers and suns. At the end of each row are two boxes, one big and one small, and the child colors the one that comes next.
This is where a child learns that a pattern can be made from something other than color or shape. Every row uses one object, so the only thing to notice is the size, and some rows go big, small while others go big, big, small or small, small, big. It pairs nicely with any big and small sorting work.
