About this worksheet
Five patterns in full color: blue squares and yellow circles, hearts and a triangle, strawberries and pears, frogs and pigs, and a boat, plane and school bus. Ten picture cards sit below a cutting line. The child cuts them out and glues the right picture into the empty box at the end of each row.
Only five of the ten cards are needed, so the extras make a child think instead of just using whatever is left. Cut all ten first and lay them out face up before any glue comes out. It is good scissor practice, and a nice change of pace in the middle of a pattern unit.
What students will practice
