About this worksheet
Five dominoes down the page, each with three boxes beside it. The child counts the dots on the left half, then the right half, and writes the full number sentence: both numbers and the sum. A worked example at the top has 2 + 3 = 5 in dotted numerals to trace first.
Writing the whole equation is a step up from filling in an answer, because the child has to decide where each number goes. The dominoes give 4 + 2, 3 + 4, 6 + 3, 1 + 3 and finally a double five that makes exactly 10.
