About this worksheet
Six rows of shape patterns, each with an empty box at the end. The child works out which shape comes next and draws it in the box.
Nothing on this page gives the answer away: there are no dotted lines to trace and no choices to circle. That makes it a real test of the pattern, with a bit of drawing practice as well. The shapes include ovals and diamonds alongside the usual circles, squares, triangles and hearts, so it builds shape vocabulary too.
