About this worksheet
Four rows of six ice cream cones, all blank. The child colors the scoops in each row to make a pattern of their own.
Making a pattern is harder than finishing one, because there is nothing to copy, which is why this sheet comes last in the set. Ask the child to say each pattern out loud when it is done (“strawberry, chocolate, strawberry, chocolate”), and see whether they can make every row a different kind: AB, AAB, ABB and ABC. It prints in black and white and makes a good early finisher page.
