About this worksheet
Five ocean patterns, each ending in a question mark, and a column of five pictures down the right side: an octopus, an anchor, a dolphin, a starfish and a turtle. The child works out what comes next in each row and draws a line to the matching picture.
Every picture on the right is used exactly once, so a picture left over at the end is a sign to go back and check. The patterns get a little trickier down the page, from crab, starfish, crab, starfish to a seahorse, jellyfish and anchor repeat.
