About this worksheet
Five pictures, each followed by the full row of five senses (an eye, an ear, a nose, a mouth and a hand, each labeled). Children look at the watermelon, the alarm clock, the feather, the rainbow and the flower, and circle the one sense they would use most.
Seeing all five choices on every row makes children compare them, which is a step on from simple matching. It also opens up good questions, because you can see and taste a watermelon and you can see and smell a flower. The word most is doing real work here, and it is worth asking a child why they chose the one they did.
