About this worksheet
Forty subtraction problems within 20 in five rows, with a score out of 40 and boxes to record three tries. Nearly every problem starts in the teens, so the child is subtracting across 10 again and again.
Set a timer, see how far your child gets, and keep the sheet for another try a few days later. Beating their own score is a much better motivator than racing anyone else, and by the end of second grade these problems should come from memory.
