About this worksheet
Twelve three-digit subtraction problems in columns, each in its own box. Four need no regrouping, most regroup once in either the ones or the tens, and 765 - 488 regroups twice.
Regrouping a hundred into ten tens is the new step, and mixing it in with problems that need nothing shows whether a child is really checking each column. It is the sheet that shows three-digit subtraction is secure.
What students will practice
- Subtract three-digit numbers within 1000
