About this worksheet
Two sections split by a line. The top half adds 1 to six different numbers and the bottom half adds 2, each problem with a box for the answer. A smiling bee flies by the title and a tulip grows in the corner.
Adding 1 is just saying the next number, and adding 2 is saying the next two. Grouping them like this lets a child find that pattern for themselves instead of counting from scratch every time. The biggest sums are 9 + 1 and 8 + 2, both landing on 10.
