About this worksheet
Ten addition problems in a two-column grid, and under every number is a matching set of dots in the familiar dice arrangement. The child counts the dots, adds, and writes the answer in the circle. Two hot air balloons float either side of the title.
Every addend is 5 or less, so the dot patterns stay small enough to read at a glance, and the sums run from 1 + 1 up to 5 + 5. Children who recognize the dice patterns quickly will stop counting every dot, which is exactly the habit worth building. Black and white, so it prints cheaply.
