About this worksheet
A five-layer birthday cake to color by position: color the first layer pink, the fourth blue, the second yellow, and so on. Kids have to read each ordinal word and find the matching layer, which turns a coloring page into real first-through-fifth practice.
With only five layers and one instruction per line, it is a gentle first taste of ordinal numbers, right for kindergartners who are still learning that “third” and “three” are not the same thing. A count-the-layers sentence at the bottom ties position back to quantity.
