Garden Ordinal Numbers Worksheet: Circle the Picture

About this worksheet

Strawberries, carrots, watering cans, ladybugs, flower pots and leaves, six rows of them, each with an instruction naming a position in words and in numerals together. The rows run to different lengths, from five pictures up to ten, so a child cannot fall back on grabbing whichever one sits at the end.

The tenth leaf at the bottom is the stretch, and it is worth doing last rather than skipping: counting past fifth is where most kindergartners start losing track and need to point along with a finger. Plain line art, so it is cheap to print and stays readable in black and white.
