A five-car train sits with its cars labeled first through fifth, and five sentences say which animal rides where. The bear, lion, monkey, elephant and bunny are named out of order, so the child has to work sentence by sentence rather than filling the train from the front.

Cutting and gluing slows the whole thing down, which is the point: a wrong answer is visible before the glue goes on, and a child who is unsure can hold a card over a car and check. It is a good choice for a child who fidgets through pencil pages, and the line art keeps the ink cost low for a class set.
