About this worksheet

Four color portraits of grandma, dad, a big sister and a baby, each with the start of a sentence underneath: Here is my. A word bank holds exactly the four words needed, and a big box at the bottom asks the child to draw themselves.

Four words is a gentle number for a first sentence page, small enough that a child can hold the whole bank in mind while they write. The draw yourself box at the end puts the child into the family they just introduced, which is the part most of them will want to show you.
