About this worksheet
One big park scene: a girl on a bench, a kitten in a basket, a ball under the bench and a puppy peeking out from behind a tree. Below it are four questions, each answered by finishing a sentence with a word from the bank.
Asking “where is the cat?” and then pointing to the picture is how most children first meet these words, and this page follows that same rhythm. The scene is all line art, so it doubles as a picture to color once the four blanks are filled.
