About this worksheet
Twelve picture cards along the bottom to cut out: a king and a queen, Dad and Grandma, a boy and a girl, a hat, a fish, the sun, two cats, three kids and a pair of cars. Each one gets glued into the He, She, It or They column.
A pronoun helper box at the top spells the rule out in a line each (he is one boy or man, they is more than one), so a child who gets stuck has somewhere to look before asking.
Every column takes exactly three cards. A column that ends up with four means one card belongs somewhere else, which turns the sheet into its own answer check.
