About this worksheet
Six pets in six spots: a hamster in a mug, a puppy under an umbrella, a kitten in front of a doghouse, a bunny jumping over a bush, a turtle next to a rock and a bluebird on top of a cage. Each picture has its own short sentence with a blank, and the word bank holds all six answers.
Pets are a favorite with this age group, and the cozy pictures keep a child going through all six. “In front of” and “next to” are the trickiest pair here, so it can help to act them out with a stuffed animal first.
