About this worksheet
A playroom scene with a sleepy puppy under a chair, a ball in the toy box, a teddy bear on a shelf and a drum next to the box. Children color the picture first, then finish four sentences with words from the bank.
Coloring first slows things down in a useful way: by the time a child has colored the bear, they have already noticed it is up on the shelf. It is a calm page for the end of a day, and the black and white line art prints well on any printer.
