A row of dotted uppercase vowels, A E I O U, sits above a ruled line for copying, and the whole pattern repeats once more down the page. Kids trace the outlined letters first, then write the same five vowels on their own underneath.
All five uppercase vowels are built from straight lines and simple curves, which makes them a sensible starting point for handwriting: no descenders, no tricky lowercase b-and-d confusion. Two passes is enough for one sitting, and the page reprints cheaply for daily warm-up.
