About this worksheet
Five short sentences, one for each sense: I touch with my hands, I see with my eyes, I taste with my tongue, I hear with my ears and I smell with my nose. The sense word is dotted for tracing and the rest of the sentence is printed, with a little picture of a child using that sense beside each line.
It is the simplest way into the topic, because it says the whole idea out loud. Every sentence follows the same pattern, so a new reader can manage it alone after the first one, and by the end they have connected all five senses to the right part of the body.
What students will practice
- Name each of the five senses
- Match each sense to the body part that does it
- Trace and read a simple sentence
