About this worksheet
Two big boxes labeled Things I Smell and Things I Touch, and ten pictures along the bottom to color, cut out and glue in. There is a stinky shoe, a cactus, an ice cube, perfume, a sponge, an onion, a pillow, a fish skeleton, a hedgehog and a smelly trash bag.
Smell and touch are the two senses children find hardest to describe, so it helps to give them a page of their own. The pictures split five and five, and the touch side is full of things with a strong feel (prickly, cold, squishy, soft, spiky), which gives you plenty of describing words to talk about while the glue dries.
