About this worksheet
Nine three-digit problems where every digit sits in its own colored box: blue for hundreds, green for tens and yellow for ones. The answer goes in three empty boxes underneath, one digit per box, and the instructions remind children to write the regrouped 1 above the next column.
The colors make place value visible, which helps the child who keeps losing track of where the 1 belongs. Three of the nine regroup twice (458 + 267, 376 + 158 and 437 + 386), so they make a good stretch to finish on.
