About this worksheet
Twelve column problems, each adding three two-digit numbers. Sums run from 55 to 98, and most need regrouping.
The tip at the top is the strategy worth teaching: find two ones digits that make 10 and add those first. In 15 + 15 + 25 the two 5s make 10 straight away. In problems 8 and 10 the ones add up past 20, so the child carries a 2, which is worth pointing out before they start.
