About this worksheet
Every row gives the position twice, as a large numeral and as the word underneath it, so 5th and fifth are never far apart on the page. Cars, school buses, airplanes, rockets and hot air balloons fill the rows, and only one vehicle in each gets colored, which keeps a coloring page from turning into twenty minutes of quiet shading.
The rocket row runs to seventh, past where most kindergarten ordinal practice stops, and it is the row worth watching: counting to seventh without losing the place is a real step up from counting to fifth. Black and white throughout, so a child supplies all the color.
