Pronoun Detective: Reading Passage Worksheet for Grade 1

Read it · 15 minutes · Grade 1
Pronoun Detective: Reading Passage Worksheet for Grade 1 worksheet preview

A short story about a day at the pond. Circle the six pronouns, then answer who they, he and it mean.

Why it ends the set In a story a name is said once and then left behind. Keeping track of who he and it mean is the reading skill this whole set has been building toward.

One more thing.

If your kids finish a unit and you're not sure what to do next, my honest advice: don't move on yet. Spend a week mixing these in as warm-ups. Fluency isn't a unit, it's a habit, and the sheet that builds it is usually the one they ask to do again.
