About this worksheet
Eight bright pictures in a grid, each with a label underneath: Grandpa, a kite, Mia on her scooter, three ducks, a cupcake, Sam with a soccer ball, a bunch of balloons and Mom with a watering can. Beside each picture sit the same four choices, and the child circles the one that fits.
Each pronoun is the answer exactly twice. The ducks and the balloons are the two to talk through, because a child has to count before deciding, and that is the whole idea behind they.
What students will practice
- Match a picture to he, she, it or they
- Use they for more than one
