About this worksheet
A reminder box at the top explains that a noun is a person, a place or a thing, with a little picture for each. Below are seven sentences, and the child circles every noun.
The sentences build gently, from “The dog is sleeping.” with one noun to “Ben and his sister play with blocks.” with three. A good first page for a child meeting nouns for the first time, since the definition sits right there to refer back to.
