About this worksheet
Eight riddles, each starting “I am a person”, “I am a place” or “I am a thing”, with a word bank of eight nouns to choose from. A fox detective with a notepad sits by the title.
Riddles turn noun practice into a guessing game. “I am a place. You can see lions here.” points to zoo, and “I am a person. I make bread and cake.” points to baker. Each riddle names its noun type before giving the clue, so the person, place or thing idea gets reinforced on every line.
