About this worksheet
Twelve short sentences, and each one has exactly one noun to circle. A puppy with a magnifying glass looks on from the corner.
Knowing there is only one noun makes this a confident first page. The tricky part is the other words: “pink”, “hot” and “soft” describe the noun but are not nouns, and words like “I”, “We” and “He” stand in for people without being nouns themselves. A good warm-up before sentences with several nouns.
